Londinium sings with "fire and vitality" on its Netherlands tour

Our first ever tour to the Netherlands (12-14 August 2022) saw us give concerts to capacity audiences in the amazing St Nicholas Basilica in Amsterdam, and the more intimate Lokhorstkerk in Leiden, where the concert was in aid of the church restoration. Sadly Andrew Griffiths succumbed to Covid a few days before we travelled, but we were delighted to work with the Dutch conductor Hebe de Champeaux, who stepped in at short notice. A review in the Leidsch Dagblad by Lidy van der Spek (15 August 2022), headed ‘Glory to Hebe with Londinium’ praised the choir for its “fire and vitality” and commented that “it is wonderful how Londinium 'plays' the dynamics, dexterously following the textual content."
