Jessica Curry completed her training in Screen Music at the National Film and Television School. Her work fuses traditional instrumentation with applications of digital technology. There is a pastoral melancholy to her pieces and an emotional current that unashamedly speaks of the human condition, Romanticism and an attempt to capture a timeless longing. She has exhibited internationally and has received commissions, residencies, grants and awards from organisations such as the Royal Opera House, Prix Ars Electronica, The Wellcome Trust, The Royal Society of Arts and Arts Council England.
