- Londinium's concert on 31 May 2006 featured music by three outstanding composers of the late 16th and early 17th centuries. Tomás Luis de Victoria's Missa Ascendens Christus a work of passionate intensity, was performed with his earlier motet Ascendens Christus, on which the mass was based.
- Londinium also sang the expressive and celebratory motets for Ascension from William Byrd's great motet cycle, Gradualia, and Thomas Tallis' moving and very personal setting of The Lamentations of Jeremiah (Part I).
- Conductor: Brian Gordon
